Glad to be here!Stacy Justus - Louisville, KYJCPS HS Math Instructional Lead
Yes! Have worked with her for several years writing tests and all kinds of stuff :-)

Love the slider. Allows kids to do "what if" scenarios.
I like the sliders
Absolutely love the color coding with the graphs, too!
It's great to use for kids to "discover" what might happen when the numbers in the equation change. They can create their own scenarios
Function Basics are good for adult education students when refreshing on function content.
Ohhh... how cool!
You can make the person in that last app turn a cartwheel! :-)
Could also be used with your Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions
Beautiful visualization of the mathematics. Again, the value of technology to allow kids to explore the "what if".
I really like that they can discover on their own, it can certainly be used as an investigative thing with guiding questions
Angry birds! Awesome!
That's an amazing connection!
I will definitely be back next week. This is great information.
Love the connection to angry birds!
I love the connections made among the visuals!
I really like the initial example with the 5 degree polynomial. It makes it much easier to see the specific impact of each transformation
Thanks for introducing Colorado Phet to me.
All high school teachers should see this
Question: When I downloaded the presentation from your site, I'm not able to click the links you've embedded. It doesn't seem to be allowing the links to work. Would you mind sharing the web address for those simulations?
Students would love this!
Can these be used with tablets?
Stacy- KCM will update the presentation to ensure the links work. Stay tuned.
Those are so cool!!
Thank you for the information and resources!! Appreciate your time and work!
In the app store, $.99 for the PHET simulations
