We love the Math Fact Fluency book here at KCM. Great resource for all teachers. Research-based way of thinking of math fact fluency. You will love the games and the assessments.
This Flexible Learning Progression should drive our classroom instruction.

Oh - I love this one!
I have that one in my Thursday session too. It's fun!
it is fun!
That is soooo neat! I think this would help kids because it’s fun!
Lisa's definition of Habituation of Facts: Habituation of facts - is automaticity - recall based on conceptual understanding with a building of instructional phases - this is not seeing problems and reciting facts - this is having a conceptual understanding through experiences so that I have a recall based on conceptual understanding. This is fluency built on a foundation of conceptual understanding. :)
I was typing as you were saying it :)
I also love that it lets them know if they try to drag an incorrect number into a chain, correcting them without drawing attention to them and allowing them to continue working!
Fast facts does not always translate to recall in future settings. Ask any middle or high school teacher.
Love that activity!
Love the connection of multiplication and division and not taught in isolation of each other along with the visual representations
